What are almond blondies?
There are so many things to love about a good almond blondie. For one, it’s not too sweet and there’s enough chocolate to add a bit of chunk that’s usually missing from revel bars. I believe this is what makes it different from others as well because chocolate tends to elevate the blondie’s flavors.
We have homemade almond butter – a key ingredient – which I decided to add some salt into. Doing so helps lessen the almond’s sweetness and adds a little bit of flavour.
Some extras you can add to the almond blondies:
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- raisin
- grounded cloves
These are totally up to you of course! I like to keep my almond butter simple because I know I’ll add a bit of chocolate. I also recommend trying to create the almond butter yourself (using either a blender or food processor) as this recipe takes up A LOT of it. Also, saves you so much time from waiting on deliveries!

Almond Blondie Recipe
Here’s all you need to know about creating the almond blondie from scratch to finish! It’s super easy to make and absolutely love using this when I want a quick bite.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons (tbsp) water
1 cup almond butter (home made)
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup brown or coco sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
½ cup dark chocolate chips
Method
The method is actually pretty straightforward and takes about 10 minutes max.
1 | Line your baking sheet onto a 9×9 inch tray
2 | In a large bowl, add your water, coconut sugar, salt, vanilla, and baking soda. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed
3 | Add in the almond butter and mix
4 | Fold in the dark chocolate chips and spread evenly onto the baking tray
5 | Bake for around 20-23 minutes, depending on how fudgy you want the blondies to be!
Note: Cool completely for about 30 minutes before slicing and serving
Enjoy!
